Guided culture collection tour (SAG)
One of the largest collections of its kind, the Culture Collection of Algae (SAG) at the University of Göttingen hosts around 2,300 strains from an incredible diversity of species. Explore how these microorganisms are preserved, studied, and used in research and biotechnology. And who knows, you might even spot some of the algal MAdLand model organisms along the way.
